Steve Feeney Productions are delighted to be asked to produce a DVD of the first Basingstoke Gymnastics Club End Of Year Show since the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The 2022 End Of Year Show” DVD will be filmed with four cameras in full broadcast quality and will make a wonderful memento of what is always an amazing show of incredible gymnastics prowess.

DVD or Digital?

With a DVD, the pictures are in Standard Definition (SD) which means the image quality is similar to Freeview channels like UKTV Dave etc. DVDs are well packaged, collectable items and have “chapters” so you skip through to the item you want to watch. You do need a DVD player to watch a DVD on a TV.

Digital Downloads are in High Definition (HD) which is four times sharper but there is no way of skipping forward other than with “fast forward” which is quite cumbersome if you’re trying to find a part nearer the end. Digital downloads can be watched on most smart TVs if you copy the file onto a USB memory stick (you’ll need an 8GB USB stick). Some set top boxes and games consoles also allow you to watch videos from a memory stick. You can always watch a Digital Download on your computer.

Order Previous Show DVDs

From the start of July 2020, we stopped selling all DVDs of shows that are older than a year. This is because storage became an issue so we had a clear out of our backlog of DVDs.

We know how important your memories can be to you so we can burn a one off DVD if you need a new one but please note that the sleeve will be printed on an ink jet printer so will look a little less professional than the original. It will play just as well though. The price for a one off DVD is £18 + £3 P&P

In many cases an HD digital download version can also be made available.
